Camilo Villegas wins 2023 Butterfield Bermuda Championship, his first PGA Tour victory since 2014.

Nov, 2023

Camilo Villagas, after a grueling 3 374 days on the PGA Tour, is now a winner.

Alex Noren (68) was two shots behind the 41-year old in 2023 Butterfield Bermuda Championship after he shot a 6-under-par 65 on the Port Royal Golf Course, Southampton, Bermuda. This is Villegas’ fifth PGA Tour win and his first since the Wyndham Championship in 2014.

Villegas missed seven cuts in 11 Tour starts this season. However, he did finish T-2 last week at the 2023 World Wide Technology Championship held in Mexico.

Villegas’ win gives him exempt status until 2025 on the Tour and allows him to play in next year’s Masters, PGA Championship, Players Championship as well as Sentry, American Express, and Charles Schwab Challenge.

The 2023 RSM Classic is the final event in the fall season. It will be held at Sea Island Golf Club, Georgia.
