After a renovation of its clubhouse and golf course, the private Cape Club of Palm City will open its doors on Nov. 18. The Cape Club Collection acquired the club in May. It is located less than an hour north of West Palm Beach, near Port St. Lucie.
According to a media release, the new owners have improved the agronomic conditions at the course, renovated bunkers and added cart paths. They also increased the landscaping around the clubhouse and course. The clubhouse has been renovated with a new bar, dining room, grand ballroom and expanded back patio with firepits. There is also a new bride suite.
The Cape Club Collection also includes the Cape Club of Sharon (Massachusetts) and Cape Club of Falmouth (Massachusetts).
Roy Case designed the original course at The Cape Club of Palm City. It was opened in 1989. Darren Clarke, Eoghan O’Connell redesigned it in 2004.
