On Friday night, a couple of the biggest names in golf were enjoying other professional sports.
Jon Rahm enjoyed some NBA playoff basketball while Danielle Kang attended a Major League Baseball match.
Rahm has spent some time with his family in Arizona, his adopted state. He was just one win short of his 12th PGA Tour victory five days earlier in Mexico. He was at courtside on Friday for the Game 3 of the NBA Western Conference Semifinal Playoff game between the Phoenix Suns, the home team, and the Denver Nuggets.
The Suns were down by 0-2 after the first two games of the best-of-7 series. “Rahmbo”, the Purple and Orange’s cheerleader, was hoping to change the fortunes for the team.

Rahm received a No. The Suns’ mascot Gorilla was wearing a Masters caddie jumpsuit in white with Rahm’s name on the back.
The Gorilla gave Rahm also a set plastic golf clubs. I’m guessing that these are for Kepa, Rahm’s 2-year-old child.

Danielle Kang, the LPGA star who helped Team USA defeat England at the Hanwha Lifeplus International Crown held at TPC Harding Park 750 miles north of Phoenix, threw the ceremonial first ball before the San Francisco Giants vs Milwaukee Brewers game. Kang was originally from San Francisco.
