Chan Kim won the Korn Ferry Tour’s 2023 Albertsons Boise Open for the second consecutive week after bogey free 72 holes. Kim shot 66-62-24-64 for a total of 28 under par after four days on the Hillcrest Country Club. He still had little room to error, considering what David Kocher accomplished Sunday.
Kocher made a birdie on the 18th for a score of 59. This is the third 59 in the Korn Ferry Tour’s history.
Kocher made 10 birdies, including six consecutive ones on Nos. Two through seven – plus an eagle – helped Kocher get to 12 over for the day, and 26 over for the week.

Kocher joined Mac Meissner in April, when he shot a 59 on the Lakewood National Commander Course at Lakewood Ranch in Florida. This was the eighth round under 60 in Korn Ferry Tour’s history.
Michael Feagles recorded the ninth circuit 59 at the BMW Charity Pro-Am held in Greer, South Carolina in June.
Kocher has brought us a 10th and a 3rd in just four months.
Kim is the first to win back-to-back in two years. Cameron Young and Mito pereira both did it in 2021 on the KFT.
Kim played 79 holes in a row without making a mistake. His last seven were also bogey-free a week earlier. He is the first person to win at the Albertsons and not make a bogey.
Kim, who is ranked second in the Korn Ferry Tour Points List has earned a PGA Tour Card for the season 2024.
The Albertsons Boise Open marks the start of the four-event season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Finals.
