This week’s U.S. The U.S. Open is taking place at Los Angeles Country Club. Next on the PGA Tour’s schedule, however, is a visit to New England.
The 2023 Travelers’ Championship will be held at TPC River Highlands, in Cromwell (Connecticut), and it is expected to attract a large field.
The event will host defending champion Xander Schnaffele, who won last year with a final round 62, Scottie Scheffler and Jon Rahm. Also, Justin Thomas, Rickie Thomas, Colleen Morikawa, Viktor Hovland, Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas.
Scheffler finished 13th in 2022 while McIlroy was T-19.
Jordan Spieth is the golfer who ranks 10th in the Official World Golf Ranking. He was the winner of the 2017 Travelers. Tour members can skip up to one event in this season. The players will compete for a purse of $20 million.
