The G430 Max driver that we first saw on tour last year is now available in retail.
The 10K driver is a driver with a MOI of 10,000g/cm2, which makes it the highest MOI driver in the company.
Ping claims that its 460cc Multi-Material Head and a fixed 28-gram tungsten weight work together to achieve the MOI measurement. Carbonfly Wrap crowns are lighter and save five grams, allowing weight to be moved to the perimeter of a club to increase forgiveness.
The largest head profile in Ping’s history is pushed beyond the USGA heel-toe, front-back restrictions. Ping claims that the sound is louder on the G430Max to give the impression of “more powerful” shots.

Ping also introduces the G430 Max 10KHL driver, which is lightweight and designed for golfers with slower swing speeds. The 46-inch Ping Alta Quick driver features a lightweight Lamkin UTx Lite handle and a 19-gram backweight.
