One of the seven amateurs who are competing in the women’s major championship 2023 has made it to the top.
Eila Gallitsky, a 16 year old Thai girl, shot a 2-under-70 on Thursday in the first round of The Club at Carlton Woods at The Woodlands (Texas). She is in contention, despite being tied for third at the end of the morning wave.
Galitsky scored the same as Georgia Hall, and was better than Brooke Henderson and Celine Boutier.
