CABO SAN LUCAS (Mexico) — Jack Nicklaus declared that it was “the best golf course I’ve ever seen.”
He was referring his golf course originally named the Ocean Course at Cabo de Sol, but now called Cove Club, the focal point of this seaside community located on the Baja California Peninsula.
Cove Club is now a fully-private club. A recent redesign rerouted some holes, and the course features a stunning finish on the edge of Sea of Cortez. The Cove Club has also created a magnificent beachfront area that is open to all members.
The second 18-hole Tom Weiskopf designed course is higher on the hillside. It offers stunning views of the turquoise waters from almost every hole. The course, which is now known as Cabo del Sol Course, is being renovated by Dana Fry & Jason Straka.
