Andy Priest, Executive director of the Southern Golf Association, and Chairperson for the Elite Amateur Golf Series, said, “Since the beginning, our goal was to align top amateur events not only in the United States for men’s games but also for women’s games.” We are proud to be able to elevate elite women’s sport by offering them a summer competition schedule at some of the best venues and resorts in the United States.

The Sea Island Women’s Amateur, now in its fourth year of existence, will begin the series at the historic Seaside Course of Sea Island Golf Club on St. Simons Island (Georgia) from May 29 to 31. The series then moves west for the fourth edition Southwestern Women’s Amateur at Desert Mountain Club, Scottsdale, Arizona from June 12-15. Pinehurst, which hosted the U.S. Open a few weeks ago, will host the North & South Amateur for both men and women on the same courses. From June 25-29, Pinehurst will host the North & South Amateur for both men’s and women’s competitions on Courses No. From June 25-29, the 4th will be played for the first. The North & South Women’s Amateur is being played for the 122nd time this year. The 124th Women’s Western Amateur will be held from July 16-20. This championship returns to the Onwentsia Club, in Lake Forest, Illinois, where it was first played. The final event of the series will be the 94th LNGA Amateur, which is being conducted by the Ladies National Golf Association, at Hot Springs Country Club, in Hot Springs, Arkansas from July 23-25.

The Women’s Elite Amateur Golf Series includes a competition lasting the entire summer, called the Elite Amateur Cup. This is modeled after the Men’s Series. The Elite Amateur Cup will use the WEAGS results from the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR) to determine the point system. Top finishers of the final standings can earn exemptions for USGA Championships or other professional opportunities that will be announced later.

The EAGS tagline, “The Best of the Best”, showcases the best amateur golfers playing in the best venues and against the best field. The Elite Amateur Golf Series has a track record for presenting the most competitive competitions, putting the championships on par with the majors in amateur golf.
