Four amateur events are headed to Sand Valley by the USGA.

The United States Golf Association continues its partnership with Wisconsin by bringing in four amateur tournaments at Sand Valley Resort, Nekoosa until 2034.

After the U.S. Women’s Open in Erin Hills 2025, Sand Valley will be hosting the U.S. Mid-Amateur 2026. This tournament will take place on the newly built Lido course, a privately owned course at the resort. This year, it was opened to play.

Junior Amateur, the 2030 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur and the 2034 U.S. Girls’ Junior. Junior Amateur in 2030, and the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur in 2034.

The USGA held 17 golf championships this year in Wisconsin, including the most recent 2022 U.S. Mid-Amateur, which was played at Erin Hills.

Sand Valley will host the 2022 Wisconsin State Amateur.

Michael and Chris Keiser own and operate the resort, which occupies 12 acres in central Wisconsin.

Chris Keiser stated in a USGA statement that “we have been looking forward to this event for a very long time.” “Amateur Golf is the core of the game.” We are honored to be able to host these elite golfers over the next decade.
