Two years after being beaten 19-9 in Whistlingstraits, the Europeans will reclaim the Ryder Cup by sweeping all four matches on the Thursday, and riding the wave to an 16 1/2 to 11.5 1/2 victory.

The future Ryder Cup venues have been announced until 2037.

From 2021, the Ryder Cup will be played on odd-numbered years.
