Gary Woodland is a major champion and has been a mainstay on the PGA Tour ever since his rookie year in 2011.

Woodland, who was making his second Tour appearance, found himself in contention at the 2011 Bob Hope Classic. He lost to Jhonattan Las in a play-off. Woodland won the Transitions Championship a few months later, beating Webb Simpson.

Since then, the former Kansas Jayhawk is a multiple winner including most notably at this year’s U.S. Open.

Woodland, who has a few Tour victories under his belt as well as two third-place finishes in his career, has played the role of bridesmaid ten times.

Woodland is a mainstay of the Tour and will continue to be on the front page of leaderboards for some time.
