Gary Woodland will be returning to the PGA Tour at this week’s Sony Open in Hawaii. In September of last year Woodland announced on his social media that he had undergone surgery to remove a brain tumor.
He said, “I spent four and a-half months thinking that I would die every day,” during his pre tournament press conference on Tuesday in Honolulu. Every day was a different way to die, a different way to die. “The jolting I felt in the middle night scared me to death.”
