Golfer witnesses hole-in-one on three consecutive days at a California club (and even made an ace of his own)

Nov, 2022

As we all have had similar thoughts standing in front of a par-3 tee shot, “Maybe this one goes in.”

Amateur golfers rarely make a hole in one. The odds of that happening are about 12,500 to 1. These odds were beaten last weekend at Mesa Verde Country Club, Costa Mesa, California.

Three holes-in-one were achieved in three consecutive days, from Friday, Nov. 4, to Sunday, November 6. One man was present to witness them all. Dan Kelly won the par-3 12 th using a pitching wedge. He was also present in both the Friday and Saturday groups, where Mike Abel won the 165-yard par-33 rd holes, while Ken King won the 12 th.

If you are like me, and still waiting for your first Ace, then maybe take a round at Mesa Verde and Mr. Kelly.
