Golfweek’s Best 2023 Rankings of the Top 50 Classic Courses in Great Britain and Ireland – Built before 1960 – as determined through Golfweek’s Best raters.

Our course-ratings panel members continuously evaluate courses and give them their grades based on our 10 criteria. Each course is also given a single overall rating. These overall ratings are added together to create a final rating. To determine the final rankings, each layout is ranked against other layouts in Great Britain or Ireland.
