Golfweek’s Best 2024 is a list of the top resort golf courses across the United States.
Our course-rating panel, which is made up of hundreds of members, continuously evaluates courses and rates them according to our 10 criteria. Each course is given a single overall rating. These overall ratings are then averaged together to create a final cumulative rating. Each course is then ranked in relation to other courses within the region.

This list is based on golf courses only, and not resorts or any other amenities. Each golf course is listed along with its average score from 1-10, its location and architect(s), as well as the year of opening.
