Swing Code is a set of swing characteristics that includes swing speed, club delivery and face angle just before impact. This results in a face designed to maximize distance and disperse tightly into the green.
• New Design with Classic Back Construction: Ai Smoke Irons feature a contemporary shape that consists of longer blades, thinner toplines and optimized soles widths for a forgiving yet streamlined appearance at address. The Ai Smoke HL irons and Max Fast are constructed with a deep-cavity back. This proven design combined with precision weighting in tungsten produces a low and deep CG to achieve a high apex. A new shape features longer blades, optimal sole and topline sizes and a more confident look. The Max Fast Irons have more loft, lightweight components and a shaft weighing 40 grams to provide a high launch.

“It all started with the work that we did on Swing Codes for irons. They’re completely different. You won’t find the same exaggeration as you would on woods, especially around face angle and path. You can see a wide range of speed. We found that players who were faster and those with slower speeds experienced fundamentally different results. Players with high-flying modern spec packages can produce a lot of spin and launch, but those who are slower will struggle with the launch conditions.

“We started out with players who were fast, and then we discussed using AI with a hollow body to harness this power. This allows us to harness the power and speed and work on dispersion. We’re also working on controlling the dispersion downrange, which will make this a more accurate and longer golf club .”
