SCOTTSDALE (Ariz.) — The fight to crown the national champion has begun.
The 2023 NCAA Women’s Golf Championship began on Friday at Grayhawk Golf Club. This is the site for both the men’s NCAA Championships and the women’s NCAA Championships, which took place there last year. The teams will compete in four stroke play rounds, with the eight best teams advancing to matchplay, which starts on Tuesday, May 23, after they have completed their stroke play. A separate individual champion will also be crowned on Monday, May 22.

On Wednesday, May 24, the match-play final will determine the national champion.
