Hanwha International Crown: What you need to know, how to watch, the format, and what’s going on. Nelly Korda shares her thoughts about TPC Harding Park

May, 2023

This week, the Hanwha International Crown is returning to the LPGA’s schedule at TPC Harding for the very first time in 5 years. A number of players will be competing for the first-time in this event.

Team USA is the number one seed among eight countries, and will play China in the opening round on Thursday. Only Lexi Thompson, who has competed at all three Crowns, is experienced. South Korea won last year’s edition at home.

Danielle Kang from the United States said, “I love team events like many other girls do. And having the International Crown return to the schedule was exciting for me, because it is something I’ve never done.

“It’s a big honor to be a member of the International Crown team, as one of the top four players in America. I get to represent my country.”
