It’s moving day! The first 36-holes of the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic are now in the books at Detroit Golf Club.
Taylor Moore and Taylor Pendrith who finished second in this event 2022 are now tied at 13 under. Rickie Fowler and Ludvig berg are T-3 with 12 under. Fowler wants to win his first tournament since the 2019 WM Phoenix Open. Aberg has placed inside the top 25 on his last two PGA Tour appearances.
Collin Morikawa is tied for fifth place at 11 under, after missing the cut at the Travelers Championship last week.
Justin Thomas, Tony Finau and seven other big names missed the weekend. However, a record 84 players will be moving onto the weekend.
