The Sentry will host the season-opening tournament in Maui, Hawaii on Thursday at Kapalua Plantation Course. The field of 59 players is the first signature event of the year and it’s a no-cut event. Many of the best golfers in the world are there.
Scottie Scheffler, the top-ranked player in the world rankings, will be looking to build on his Hero World Challenge victory last month. FedEx Cup winner Viktor Hovland will be looking to kick off his year with a bang.
Kapalua’s Plantation Course is ranked No. Golfweek’s Best list for public-access courses is ranked No. 2 in Hawaii. It also ranks No. 39th on Golfweek’s Best list for modern courses within the U.S.
