This week, the silly season of golf continues with a classic tournament being played for 26 th.
The PNC Championship, originally called The Father/Son Challenge, was first played in 1995. It consists of two player teams consisting of a PGA Tour or Champions Tour player, and a member of their family. The professional golfer must be either a major winner or winner of the Players Championship. The family member can’t be a touring professional.

The Willie Park Trophy is awarded to the winner after a two-day scramble of 36 holes. It was named in honor of the father-son British Open Champions, Willie Park Sr.
The 2023 PNC Championship will be held at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club, Orlando, from December 14-17.
