Pat Perez has no qualms about joining LIV Golf after spending more than 20 years on the PGA Tour. Although no one can be sorry for Perez, who has won almost $29 million in prize money over 21 years on this tour, Perez wants what everyone wants: Less work and more money.
It was LIV that he found it.
He said, “I couldn’t be happier,” at the end of LIV’s inaugural Season. “It’s unbelievable.”
Perez is part the Dustin Johnson’s four Aces, that won LIV’s team title at Trump National Doral. Perez’s season earnings soared to $8 million with the title.
LIV, which was financed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, paid out $255 million in prizes in 2022. This included $30 million in bonuses. 52 golfers were able to earn more than $1,000,000 in total.
These are the top 10 LIV money-earners for the inaugural year. Compare this to their time on The PGA Tour.
