Jack Nicklaus, when asked about what makes Panther National unique, replied: “Did You Look Around?”

PALM BEACH GARDENS (Fla.) — Justin Thomas has a long ways to go before golf course design becomes the main focus of his life.

The two-time Tequesta major winner is curious about business and was eager to accept the offer to work with Hall of Fame designer, golfer and architect, David Duval.

Thomas and Jack Nicklaus were co-designers of Panther National’s 18-hole championship golf course. This is Palm Beach County’s first private golf community to open its doors in 20 years.

Thomas told The Palm Beach Post that he would like to design someday, but he was a long time away from being able to do it alone. It’s an excellent introduction for me.

The course is part of Panther National’s Signature Estate Homes, Custom Estate Homesites. This project will have a maximum of 218 residences between $5 million and $50 million.

If you can live on the course you can also afford a $400,000 membership. Act quickly, because the price will increase to $500,000 by January 1.

Former Swiss ski racer is founder

Dominik Senn is the founder and president of the project. He is a former Swiss Ski Racer who founded a sports agency in Jupiter in 1995. Senn had considered getting into the business of golf courses and was finally convinced after settling down in Palm Beach Gardens. He thought the entire area was “dated.”

This includes properties owned by Donald Trump.

He said: “Some of what they did in Dubai or what Trump did is too fancy, and the players find it looks fake.” “You could tell they were trying to make the highest point. They wanted to build this. This was not the situation. It still needs to appear as natural as it can.

No Mickey Mouse.

Nicklaus’ answer when asked about what makes Panther National unique was “Have you looked around?”

Thomas described the course’s steep elevation changes of up to 48 feet as “different” just by looking at it. It’s wide open and has a links look and feel. You will experience elevation changes. “You have no elevation change in South Florida.”

Senn already had other properties in contract before settling for the 450 acres, located 15 miles away from the coast.

Nicklaus stated that “he wanted to build a golf club and told us the location.” “You’ve got to be kidding. That’s out in the middle nowhere,” I said.

“When I saw this growth, it was a natural progression.”

Nicklaus was able to mentor his favorite player, a 83-year old Nicklaus.

Nicklaus recognizes himself in Thomas, who is 30 years old. Jack Dye was his first inspiration when he was young, and he wanted to learn more about the design of golf courses.

Nicklaus: “The first time I played with Pete Dye at Harbour Town, I observed.” “I wanted learn. J.T. J.T.

“Pete has listened to J.T. “Pete listened to me in certain places and I listened to J.T.

Nicklaus asked Thomas constantly what he thought, and listened to any suggestions. Thomas’ input resulted in a change to the par-5 hole on the 11th. Thomas didn’t like that all the balls ended up in the exact same spot when the second shot was taken. He wanted to widen the hole and remove the slopes feeding into these spots.

Nicklaus stated, “He wants him to continue learning for some time.” “I’d be happy to take J.T. “I would be delighted to take J.T.

Thomas, listed as a Partner, intends to get involved in other projects but not at the cost of his job. Former world no. Thomas, who is currently ranked No. Thomas is looking forward to Panther National being his preferred practice course. Thomas practices primarily at Michael Jordan’s Grove XXXII.

Thomas stated that there was nothing similar in Florida. These characteristics aren’t really something here, and Jack said: “We can do this. It’s going be tough.” If that’s the goal, then we’ll do it. That’s exactly what the team did.

Thomas, Rickie and the course ambassadors Xander, Lexi, Morgan Hoffmann, and Erik van Rooyen played a nine hole exhibition after the ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday.

Schauffele said, “As a West Coaster, it is nice to see hills.” He recently moved to Jupiter. “I’m sure those mounds were not there before. It took a lot of effort to create the rolling hills, mounds, and blind shots that you see.

Senn wanted to create a “fun golf course for everyday golfers but also a tough test for those who want to really test themselves.”

You can also make it a test. Panther National can be played as short as 4500 yards or as long as 8,000 yards. This is why championship events of one day could take place there.

Senn wants to hold high amateur and college competitions before “something larger later”, like a PGA Tour. The membership will decide. He doesn’t want to deprive the members of one or two weeks, especially those that may not live in the area all year.

Nicklaus stated that “from the beginning, the vision was to create a unique golf experience in South Florida.” “Designing a golf course is a challenge, but Panther National’s uniqueness won out. There is no golf course in South Florida that comes close.
