The LPGA record of 13 years has been surpassed.
Jin Young Ko, who tied for 20th place at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in 2023, is ranked no. The number one ranking has been broken by Lorena Achoa.
Ko has ranked No. 1 five times since April 2019, with her latest stint beginning in May. Since April 2019, Ko has been No. Ochoa spent 158 weeks as No. She held the No. 1 spot for 158 weeks, from April 2007 through May 2010.

Jin Young Ko, one of five Koreans to reach the top 5, is a very talented player. She has won two tournaments in 2023, and 15 throughout her career. Two of them were majors. Ko is also leading the Race to CME Globe on the LPGA, which is a points race that lasts the entire season.
