It was reported that Jonah Hill would play John Daly in an upcoming film about the life of the mercurial star.

Daly addressed the Champions Tour Instagram page rumors this week. Daly stated that he “loves Jonah Hill” and hopes they “get something done”.

Daly claims that Hill is the ideal candidate for “Long John” because of Hill’s “fluctuation in their weight throughout their lives. Hill also stated that he “wants it really badly”.
Daly stated that Hill would need to be driven to Daly’s driving range if he does indeed land the role.
Hill was featured in many of the most recent movies, including Superbad, 40 Year-Old Virign and The Wolf of Wall Street. He also appeared in Moneyball, War Dogs, and Moneyball.
If given the green light, it is believed that Hill will also produce the Daly biopic.
