Jon Rahm is not often star struck.
Why should he? The star of most rooms is now the Spaniard . Rahm, who is 28 years old, already holds a major championship, and nine wins on the PGA Tour as well as the DP World Tour.
Rahm won the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines, San Diego, where he also won his first Tour event in 2017. Rahm was also part of a star-studded professional-am group that featured ESPN’s Michael Collins and Tisha Alyn, a golf content creator and a soccer player who has caused Rahm quite a lot of stress over the past decade.
Gareth Bale evades ban on golf at World Cup in Qatar
Rahm said that Gareth Bale was the reason Real Madrid beat me for 10 years. He also dominated for the Spanish giants Real Madrid and England’s Tottenham Hotspur. Gareth said that you couldn’t be both good at professional soccer and golf simultaneously. It just didn’t make sense. It’s unfair to be so dedicated to one thing while having this much talent for golf.
Rahm gushed, “He didn’t ask for anything and he shouldn’t be asking. He’s already good enough.” Rahm praised Rahm for his two strokes. I believe it’s already wrong. He should give strokes to the other amateurs, he’s a very, very talented player.

This is a high praise for a man looking to win his third straight PGA Tour event. He enters this week’s event with a record of four wins in six international starts. Rahm is now No. Rahm is currently No. 3 in the world. He has never finished worse than T-8 in seven of his previous starts and has a knack to finish high at Torrey Pines. Rahm finished T-29 in 2017, T-5, 2, T-7, and T-3 at the California coast course since his 2017 win.
Rahm said, “We had a great day. We had a great nine holes.” Rahm said, “I wish I could have a group like that every time I play pro-am. The nine holes flew by so fast and we laughed a lot.
