The Sentry Tournament of Champions in Maui is the first event of the year for the PGA Tour. The field includes 39 golfers who are competing for $2.7 million, up from $11 million a year ago.

The 2023 field also has 13 new Sentry golfers.
Only three Sentry champions from the past are playing this week: Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth. Hideki Matsuyama, Russell Henley and Russell Henley are the only two players in the field to have won the Sony.
We take a closer look at six golfers who earned the double dip at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii and the Sony Open in Hawaii.
