Kansas’ new, state-of the-art golf course was opened on 30 acres in 2018.
Jayhawk Club has a large indoor trackman simulator, seven hitting bays, and an indoor short game area. The private clubhouse, which houses both men’s as well women’s programs, also has locker rooms, coaches offices, and team-specific lounges.
Outdoor practice areas include bent, artificial turf, and zoysia teeing areas. This allows players to practice for tournaments using different wind directions and grasses. There are four greens available, including The Baby Jay and a large private green. The Baby Jay is an 18-hole, short course that runs through three large areas. While the tees remain the same each day, the holes are changed. The Baby Jay allows players to view a variety of shots and record a competitive score each day.
