Kevin Kisner puts down his club and picks up the microphone.

The Sentry at Kapalua Resort, Maui’s Plantation Course, will be the first Tour event in 2024. Kisner, a four-time winner of the PGA Tour, will be an analyst at NBC Sports. Kisner also will cover the WM Phoenix Open, which takes place at TPC Scottsdale from February 8-11.

Kisner is one of the more colorful characters in the sport. “I am excited to be able to comment on what I see on the golf course with NBC Sports,” he said.

Tommy Roy, NBC Sports’ lead producer of golf coverage, said: “I’ve always found Kevin to share his opinions and thoughts about the game in a very honest and forthright manner, whether during a conversation at the driving range, or his pre- and after-round press conferences.” We think that his style will be well received by the home viewers and are excited to have Kevin join the NBC Sports team for the WM Phoenix Open and The Sentry.

Kisner’s first win on Tour came at the RSM Classic in 2015. His second victory was at the Dean & DeLuca Invitational, now the Charles Schwab Challenge (two years later). His biggest win came at the WGC Dell Technologies Match Play in 2019. He won his last tournament at the Wyndham Championship 2021.

Paul Azinger was not renewed after this season. Roger Maltbie, Gary Koch and Paul McGinley were all fired in 2022. Paul McGinley served as the lead analyst for the Hero World Challenge, and a Sports Business Journal article hinted that Geoff Ogilvy might be interested in the vacant seat.
