Kevin Na breaks down the new WITB 2023, including wedges ‘they supposedly don’t make anymore’

Mar, 2023

Kevin Na, five-time winner of the PGA Tour, took Instagram viewers through his bag during the second LIV event.

He began by removing his grey wood covers which looked impressive and were made in the colors of his LIV team. This team includes Danny Lee, a 2023 recruit who is now the LIV Tucson champion.

The driver is a Titleist TSR3 driver. It’s set to D1 and has a graphite shaft. According to the player, it is “working great”.

The big dog is pictured alongside the TSR3 3-wood (and 5-wood) and the “strong 3-wood” (). It’s clearly a favorite in the Na camp.

Then he moves on to his hybrid. It is “brand-new in the bag.”

Na is unfamiliar with the Ping G430. However, he reveals that despite trying it today , it’s “so so good.”

The irons are simpler, with the 4i up to the pitching wedge being Titleist T100 Irons. Na states that the 4-iron is a T100S because it provides a “stronger lift and extra distance to fill the gap between hybrids.”

Na says that he loves his 54-degree Callaway wedge. He confirmed that the wedge is amazing with full shots.

The 60-degree model is an older K.Grind Vokey model. He is relieved to discover that they might still have a few. I hang on .”

Although his putter head cover might be called a “Magnet”, the inside is a Scotty Cameron Newport 2.5, which Na just added a few weeks ago. He says “I love…it’s fantastic.”

He finally grabs the Pro V1x golf club ball. A ball he claims he “always played.”

Although it’s not as varied or unique as other golf bags, fellow LIV player Bryson deChambeau took the lead. However, Na moved up from an opening 20th at LIV Mayakoba and to seventh last week. More will be happening in Orange County towards the end of March.
