Kurt Kitayama wins the 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational, his first win on the PGA Tour

Another PGA Tour-designated event was held at Bay Hill Club & Lodge.

On Sunday in Orlando, there were 14 players within three shots of the lead. This included four major champions as well as a tie for fifth place with only three holes remaining.

Kurt Kitayama won the event. Kitayama shot an even par 72 to win his first PGA Tour victory at 9 under. It was also his first professional victory since winning the 2019 Oman Open on DP World Tour. Chico, California’s 30-year-old Kitayama finished second at the CJ Cup in South Carolina earlier this year and twice last season at Mexico Open and Genesis Scottish Open.

Rory McIlroy finished T-2 at 8-under, Harris English was T-2, and Patrick Cantlay and Jordan Spieth were T-3 at 7-under. Tyrell Hatton, Tyrell Hartton, Scottie Scheffler, and Tyrell Hatton were all T-4 at 7-under.
