The Shriners Children’s Open, part of the FedEx Cup fall, offered plenty of opportunities for players to gain entry into the first Signature events or to keep their PGA Tour cards.

The windy conditions of Thursday morning made it difficult for some players to advance this week, while others didn’t perform well enough.
Some players were able to save their best shots for the last moment: Brandt Snedeker made a birdie at their final hole, and James Hahn, Scott Piercy and Scott Piercy also did the same on their last hole. They all managed to get on the right-hand side of a 3 under cutline.
