Lilia Vu, winner of the 2023 Chevron Championship, has had a great ride.

Vu, as an amateur, was a premier player. She was ranked No. For 31 weeks, Vu was ranked No. 1 in the World and represented the United States on a few occasions before and during her time at UCLA.

Vu was a Bruin and won numerous awards, including the 2016 Pac-12 Freshman Award and the 2018 WGCA player of the year. He also received three All-American first team nominations.

Vu received her LPGA card right out of college through Q-School. However, she lost it after failing to achieve a high position on the money list.

Vu won three times on the 2021 Epson Tour and earned Player of the year honors. He also secured full status in the 2022 LPGA.

Vu returned to winning in no time as she won the Honda LPGA Thailand tournament in February 2023. This win helped her climb into the top 20 of the world.

With a major title under her belt, Hawaii’s native will be able to jump into the top 10, and she is likely to remain there as the major season rolls on.
