LIV Golf, a former PGA Tour professional, says that players feel ‘ostracized” since they made jumps.

Anirban has been on many of the most prestigious golf courses in the world.

Lahiri has seven wins on Asia Tour, two European Tour wins, a dozen titles in the Professional Golf Tour of India, as well as time on Korn Ferry Tour and PGA Tour. He also considers the mental state of the players on his current circuit.

The Saudi-funded operation has been criticized for its wide-ranging human rights abuses. This includes torture and forced disappearances. It’s also made LIV Golf’s climate very unusual.

Lahiri, who almost dropped out of the Top 100 in the Official World Golf Ranking, said to the Indian monthly sports magazine Sportstar he enjoyed the new league but that it came with a cost.

“There are many perspectives that you can take on the current golf situation. LIV Golf is not the only one I will mention. There are many organizations out there that don’t always behave in an amicable way. LIV Golf is very clear about what they want to accomplish. It is going to change. There will be a major disruption. Lahiri stated that disruption is not something people like.

“Being part of LIV almost makes us feel marginalized. Many of the criticisms I hear are untrue. Some are valid, I get it. There are many criticisms from the other side, too. But nobody wants to discuss that because it comes across as biased. It will only be time to see where it goes.”

Lahiri was the fourth LIV Golf participant in Boston. He reached a playoff with Dustin Johnson’s incredible uphill putt. Lahiri missed an eagle on the 18th hole, which would have given him an outright win.

Lahiri expressed his satisfaction with the league’s treatment of the players, even though he has yet to match that impressive debut with another top-5 finish.

It was a great experience. At first, I was unsure of what I was getting into. He said that he had spoken with friends who had transitioned. It has been amazing, they have taken incredible care of us and the courses have been immaculate. It is amazing how meticulous they are. They have handled the events well and taken great care of the players.

“If… people begin to enjoy it, it will be a totally different story in four, five years.” We will also see what happens if they don’t reach their goals. The transition period in professional golf is a time of great change. Everyone needs to be patient, mature and understand how to deal with it. The three stakeholders, players, fans, and organization, have their own views and are all interested in the same topic. All of them must be respected.
