LIV Golf Tucson hosted a playoff on Sunday night, with four teams competing. Danny Lee emerged victorious after three more holes.
In a playoff at Gallery Club Marana, Arizona, Brendan Steele, 32, defeated Louis Oosthuizen, Carlos Ortiz and Brendan Steele. He will be leaving with the trophy and the $4 million top prize. Lee won his first LIV Golf League event in only his second attempt. Lee hadn’t won since 2015’s PGA Tour’s Greenbrier Classic.
Sergio Garcia’s Fireballs GC won the team title at 25-under to beat Dustin Johnson’s 4 Aces GC who finished runner up for the second year in a row. Kevin Na’s Iron Heads came in third at 19 under. The Fireballs made $3 million while the Aces took home $1.5 million. Iron Heads received $500,000.

Greg Norman, the league’s leader, is back at work for its third event in 2023 at Orange County National Orlando (March 31-April 2nd).
