DORAL, Fla. — The LIV Golf Team Championship has completed two days of match play and is now returning to stroke play.
Twelve teams made it to Trump National Doral’s Blue Monster course in the season finale for $50 million. Only four of them remain for Sunday’s final round.
Dustin Johnson’s 4Aces GC is up against Cameron Smith’s Punch GC. Brooks Koepka will be competing in Smash GC. Louis Oosthuizen will be fighting for Stinger GC. The top prize, $16 million, will go to the winner. There will also be a $4 million share among the first place team. The $8 million split will go to second place. Six million and four million respectively will go to third and fourth places. The semifinal round of matches saw four teams eliminated. Each quarterfinalist lost $1 million.

Smith said Saturday at the post-round news conference that “I believe everyone is out to defeat the 4Aces tomorrow.” “They have been the top this year so it will be nice to show them that someone else can win.”
Johnson replied, “Bring it!”
Each team will consist of 16 players. They will each play 18 holes shotgun stroke play. All four scores count towards the final team score. The course will open at 12:15 p.m., with eight groups of two players taking to the course. Captains will be paired together. ET. Live streaming on YouTube.
