Lucas Glover hosts his own Sirius XM PGA Tour Radio show

Lucas Glover, PGA Tour veteran, lists this Oscar Wilde quote in his social media profile as a sort of mantra: “Be yourself. Everyone else is taken.”

Glover, 2009 U.S. Open winner, who has had a resurgence with two wins in consecutive weeks on PGA Tour this season, lives up Wilde’s words.

Glover has joined SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio in his latest attempt to be himself. The Lucas Glover Show will debut on December 6, 2008 at 8pm ET. The SiriusXM channel will broadcast the hour-long show regularly all year.

Glover said in a release that it was a great platform to reach golfers across the country. Since I won the U.S. Open, I have thought about having my own show. “Now that I’ve had a chance to experience everything I can through my career, it is time for me to share all the stories, lessons I’ve learned, and opinions I have on our game.”

Glover, 44 years old, became a professional in 2001, after graduating Clemson. Glover, 44, won the U.S. Open on the Bethpage Black Course in 2009 by two strokes. He was one of only a few players to have won the U.S. Open following a sectional qualifying round.

Glover, a Southern gentleman with a lot of introspection and reflection, is a man who never holds back his opinion. Glover showed his personality, and his ability to cover a variety of topics in ‘s lengthy Q&A session with Golfweek.
