After being in an accident on Friday, Carl Jackson is now in good health.
Jackson, 76 years old, was on his way to Augusta from Roland, Arkansas when he collided onto a stopped vehicle along Interstate 20. Jackson’s car was destroyed in the accident.
Jackson has caddied at 54 Masters Tournaments, his last in 2015. He still plans to caddy for Ben Crenshaw in Wednesday’s Par Three Contest.
Crenshaw and Julie Crenshaw reached out to Jackson after hearing the news.
Late Friday, Ben sent a text to his friend Ben: “I was worried sick.”
Julie stated, “A car can be replaced.” “We are so grateful Carl is okay. That’s all that really matters.”
