AUGUSTA GA — One of the perks of attending the Masters Tournament, is the opportunity to leave with unique keepsakes.
These items can only be purchased at Augusta National Golf Club, and only the Masters can sell them. This exclusivity intrigues people. Because most people know where the item came from, they won’t ask anyone “Where did it come from?”
The Masters golf shop has something for everyone, whether you are a new or returning patron.
Mike Bechtol, Chico, California said that he has been to the Masters many times and wanted some new shirts and caps. “They do a few unique, annual things that are very interesting.”

However, the Main Golf Shop can only go so far. Carl Turner, Aiken, South Carolina was quick to respond when asked if he had any other ideas.
He joked, “Tickets for Sunday”
Samuel Ford and Turner, both from Aiken were also looking to expand their commemorative watch and coin collections.
With this in mind, here’s a list of the six most popular items that patrons will be able to get their hands on during the 2023 Masters.
Gnomes
Over the years, Augusta National’s gnomes have enjoyed a loyal following. Each year, the design changes. This year’s gnome is dressed as a patron and wearing a Masters visor. He also carries a folding chair and stacks of empty concessions cups.
You can still find miniature versions of the original caddie costume in the merchandise shop. However, the full-sized versions are the most popular. They go quickly, and this was true for Turner this year.
He said, “I have a few at my home now that I bought.” “This year they were all gone when I arrived, but they promised in the morning that they would restock.
What a speed! It’s not long before the merchandise shops are open for the day.
“They’ve sold out of this every day in 10 minutes for some strange reason.” It’s nuts,” Bechtol stated. “I do have an acquaintance who collects them, and he will be here Thursday. He’ll likely be there when the whole thing opens. Run in there and get yourself a gnome.”
During tournament week, the shops replenish their shelves daily but the gnomes fly off the shelves.
Hole-themed headwear
Augusta National is a place where hats will always be a staple. There are more than 70 options of headgear available, but this year there is a series that honors a few holes on the course.
The first is a pastel pink color with “Azalea”, in green, on the front. A green rope runs across the base. It’s named after No. 13 is the famous par 5, which was extended to 545 yards in this year’s edition.
The second is in the classic Masters green, with “Amen Corner”, in white on the front. This refers to holes 11-13. The term was first used by Herbert Warren Wind, a golf writer. He coined it in 1958 when Arnold Palmer was attempting to win his first Masters title. It is instantly recognisable because of the combination of the shade and text.
The third is dark blue and has the phrase “Skip It”, in green. This refers to players who skip their tee shots over the water at par-3 No. 16 during practice rounds.
There are other styles of hats
The traditional ballcap and visor are the most popular, but bucket hats have gained popularity in the merchandise shops over time.
While the traditional green-and-white offering is still available for purchase, there are many other color options, such as white and salmon.
The bucket-style hats are still very popular, but woven straw hats with Masters bands around the crown and a woven straw hat seem to be a more popular choice.
There’s also a Masters stocking cap to keep you warm in winter.
Get Drinkware
When it comes to Masters merchandise, glasses and tumblers are always in high demand.
There are many options for stainless steel tumblers. They come in simple white or green colors with the Masters logo. You can also choose from more elaborate designs that include past Masters badges and other hallmarks. A popular pattern for this year is simple drawings of familiar objects like scoreboards or directional signs. These cups are available in pink or mint green.
You will also find a variety of glassware in the shop, including wine glasses, rocks glasses, and highball glasses with etched Masters logos.
Concessions cups are a very popular souvenir.
Use sleeves
The Masters-themed drink sleeves are one of the most popular items that you can pick up as you make your way to the Main Golf Shop checkout.
You can choose from a variety of colors including blue, pink, and green. Some even come with magnets that allow you to keep them on your refrigerator. You can also find a variety of sizes to fit cups, cans, and bottles. Some of the bottle jackets are made to look like Augusta National caddie uniforms.
Christmas ornaments
You can find many Christmas ornaments this year. The traditional enamel globe-style with the Masters logo is the most popular.
The shop also features woven-fabric ornaments featuring the tournament logos. These designs will be familiar to anyone who is familiar with needlepoint-style keychains, wallets, and belts.
