It is just six days until the opening round of 2023 Masters.
The par-5 13th hole will be lengthened, which is one of the most anticipated changes at Augusta National Golf Club. Players and equipment have improved over the years to the point that the hole is now a driver- or 3-wood off of the tee, and a mid to short-iron to the green.
This is history.
According to the 2023 Masters media guides, the 13th will now run 545 yards.
Eureka Earth uploaded photos of construction in progress on June 18, 2013. EE then uploaded aerial photos of the finished project on November 19. This is what the Masters will look like next week for the players.
