Homa, who was playing on invitation, shot a 6-under 66 to finish the tournament at 19-under, four shots better than Nicolai Hojgaard, who finished second (68). Homa made his first appearance at this weekend since his Ryder Cup debut last month, when he scored 3 1/2 points.

Homa stated, “It was fun to close out the game at the end. It’s what you dream about.” It was one of those weeks where the ball just wanted to go when it needed to.

Homa has won six times on the PGA Tour. His last victory was at the Farmers Insurance Open in 2023. The Cal product won two events, finished as runner-up in one and had 18 top-25 finishes. He earned $10,761,517 as official prize money for finishing ninth in the FedEx Cup standings.

Justin Thomas (66), who finished fourth, was at 12 under. Dan Bradbury (71) completed the top five with 11 under. Two-time defending champion Tommy Fleetwood (72) finished T-12 at 7 under.

Next week, the European-based Tour will head to Dubai for the season finale DP World Tour Championship.
