PONTE VEDRA, Fla. — It’s been an amazing summer for Super Billy Davis.
Davis, 17, from Spring Valley, California whose Instagram handle @SuperBillyDavis is a part of AJGA Junior Players Championship, TPC Sawgrass Sept. 1-3.
Davis is the twin of 2022 Augusta National Women’s Amateur Champion Anna Davis. “She’s two minute older than me,” says Davis. He’s busting through her shadow and doing so in a big, bold way.
In December, he finished second at the Jones Cup Junior Invitational. He won two AJGA titles, including the Mayakoba Invitational. He also finished third in Toyota World Cup, representing the U.S.A. in Japan, and helped the West Team win the Wyndham Cup. The U.S. In the U.S. On August 1, a week later, he tied for 2nd in the Junior PGA Championship.
All in all, he’s gone from watching his sister play from the sidelines to being a part of the 12-person U.S. The Junior Ryder Cup will be held in Rome from Sept. 26 to 28.
He said, “It was really unexpected.” It wasn’t what I was aiming for, but I earned a lot of points once I started the run.

He did. And he’ll enjoy some pizza, gelato, and pasta as a minimum. Davis is now ranked fifth in AJGA Rolex Rankings and number one on the World Amateur Golf Ranking. The World Amateur Golf Ranking has him ranked at No. 460. He has a way to go before he can catch his twin who is ranked at No. The LPGA Tour’s Mizuho Americas Open saw her finish second and ranked No. 4 in the women’s rankings. Anna, who became famous for her bucket hat during her Augusta National victory last year, is right behind Rose Zhang in the women’s world of golf. Super Billy, when asked how he manages being in her shadow, said it was actually cool and had its benefits. For example, when they went to their home course and everyone wanted to talk to his big sister.
He said, “She cannot practice as I do.” “Every now and then, I get stopped by someone who says, “Hey, wasn’t that you on TV caddying for her sister?”
Super Billy will not be overlooked for long, if he continues to win and finish at the top of the junior competitions. Super Billy is another ballstriking machine with super talent. He is 135 pounds with his glasses and soaking wet. One can only imagine how much longer he will be once he gets into a rigorous training regime and gains weight. He already has enough pop. He says that he holds his own against his sister. If you’re wondering if Super Billy, the teenager who goes by Super Billy, has the same swagger as his sister, Billy says, “It isn’t a fair fight if we play at the tips.”
