Golf fans can look forward to Monday in 2024.
Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy announced their new company TMRW Sports in August. They also introduced TGL which is a “new technology-infused league” that will be partnered with the PGA Tour.
Six teams of three PGA Tour members will play in 15 regular season Monday evening matches. The semifinals and finals will be played starting January 2024. The matches will take place at a short-game, tech-infused complex. Every shot will be broadcast live on primetime television for a two-hour period.
Who’s the one playing?
Seventeen of the 18 players have been announced so far. A handful of fan favorites have been involved in 26 major championships and 149 PGA Tour wins.
These are the players who have committed to competing in the TGL beginning in 2024.
