GolfWRX.com launched last week its new club testing video series, ” Modern Classics,” in collaboration with 2nd Swing Golf.
We take a look back at eight of the most-popular older/used clubs on the PGA Tour. They are available at 2nd swing for a fraction the price of new equipment.
Andrew Tursky, Head of Tour Content at GolfWRX, tested each club against his modern gamers under the supervision of Cliff Walzak.
The first episode was launched last week. We highlighted the TaylorMade Tour Preferred MC 2011 Irons, which are used on the PGA Tour by Daniel Berger.
Tursky is testing the Adams Idea Pro Tour Prototype hybrids. They were originally released in 2006. Langer’s 2022 WITB at the Charles Schwab Championship is a good example.
Tursky compares the Adams Idea Pro Tour Prototype to a modern hybrid in the video. Walzak, Tursky then take the numbers and assign a value rating.
