Mone Inami declines immediate LPGA membership following Toto Japan Classic win

Nov, 2023

Mone inami won her LPGA title at home, and she had the chance to join the tour immediately. The 24-year old had until Sunday midnight local time in Japan, to make a decision. She chose to decline.

The $300,000.00 paycheck from the Toto Japan Classic will not be considered official currency. She will also not receive the 500 Race to the CME Globe Points. Inami was expected to be in the field for the Annika driven Gainbridge at Pelican race in Florida. This would have given her a good chance of making the CME Group Tour Championship season finale in Naples, Florida.
