After a busy Spring that saw the NBC Sports network family broadcast live nearly 150 hours on college golf, a similar schedule will be coming this Fall.
This year, the company has announced that its coverage of college golf in fall on TV and streaming will almost double from last. The Folds of Honor Collegiate was the first college golf event to be covered by Golf Channel and Peacock.
In October, four events will take place, one of which is at St. Andrews. The first is the Blessings College in Fayetteville (Arkansas) on Oct. 2 – 4, 4:30 – 7:30 pm. ET. Next week, the Jackson T. Stephens Cup will be held at Trinity Forest Golf Club, Dallas, with coverage starting Monday, October 9 between 5-8 p.m. ET, and October 10-11 between 4-7 pm. ET.
The coverage then moves across the pond to the St. Andrews Collegiate. It will be shown on Golf Channel between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. ET from October 23-25. It’s then the East Lake Cup from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1 at East Lake Golf Club, Atlanta, between 3-6 pm. ET.
The Showcase at Cedar Crest, Dallas, will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm on Nov. 13-15. ET.
The defending national champion in men’s college-golf is Florida, while Wake Forest won its first title ever last season.
