Many of the crowd members at the PGA Championship wore gear from the Buffalo Bills football team.
Both cities will always be linked. Buffalo’s National Hockey League has its affiliate in Rochester. The Bills also train at St. John Fisher College, a small school located just minutes away from this week’s event. The crowds gathered at Oak Hill to watch Bills quarterback Josh Allen and defensive end Von Miller, both of whom are Oak Hill members, when they appeared together earlier in the week.
We were left wondering — would the people in attendance prefer to watch the Bills finally win the Super Bowl, or would they choose to play at Augusta National Golf Club – the home of the Masters?
David Dusek braved the rain on Saturday and asked a few patrons what they would choose. The results were overwhelming.
