PGA Tour players in the FedEx Cup Playoffs bubble going into 3M Open

BLAINE (Minn.) — With only two regular-season events remaining in the 2022-2023 PGA Tour, the FedEx Cup Playoffs will be here soon.

This year will be different. The FedEx St. Jude Championship will be held at TPC Southwind, Memphis, Tennessee. This year, only 70 players are qualified, compared to 125 in years past. The top 50 players will then advance to the BMW Championship in Olympia Fields, Illinois. Finally, the top 30 players will be invited to East Lake, Atlanta, for the Tour Championship.

This week, the 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine Minnesota will feature some of the biggest names in the sport.

Jon Rahm, the world’s No. The FEC leaderboard has Jon Rahm at the top, followed by Scottie Scheffler who is ranked world no. 1 Scottie Scheffler right behind. Rory McIlroy was the winner of his third FedEx Cup in 2013.

This is a closer look at a few interesting names from the FedEx Cup point standings. Some have work to be done to remain in the top 70, while others need to push hard to get to Memphis.
