Phil Mickelson claims it is harder to win LIV than the PGA Tour in wild (and amusing).

Jan, 2023

Phil Mickelson is back on Twitter, and is adding some Lefty flair to things.

Since last May, when he withdrew from the defense of his PGA Championship title, he joined LIV and has since written many books about him. He also spoke out against ever participating in an interview with Alan Shipnuck. Each story reveals a different aspect of Lefty as we know it.

Mickelson sent a tweet over the weekend that was interpreted by most as a poke at the PGA Tour’s non-shorts policy.

The three-time Masters champion has now taken matters into his own hands and is now chasing Rory McIlroy, the world number 1. Lefty made a compliment and asked viewers to “see if they can finish it off.” He capitalized the word “Dubai” while making sure everyone was aware that the event was taking place in the middle east.

Although the replies were a biting, they were quite funny!

Mickelson responds to the comment that Mickelson’s career is loaded with Sunday chokes, particularly in majors. Mickelson says, “I have won six though.” A jibe at McIlroy, Mickelson has four majors since 2014.

With less than a month until the 2023 LIV calendar’s start, it is time for interest to increase again, especially with a new broadcasting agreement.

Mickelson made a jokey claim that LIV events were harder than PGA Tour events. He’s yet to win LIV, but has won 45 of those PGA thingsies.

Mickelson doesn’t care what we think or believe, but he is creating noise and interest.
